Required Documents for Bachelor Application

– A copy of high school diploma (a copy translated to English)

– A copy of high school transcript (a copy translated to English)

– A copy of the relevant pages of the passport

– A copy of residence permit in Türkiye (if available)

– English degree program applicants, IF ENGLISH IS NOT THE FIRST/OFFICIAL LANGUAGE OF THEIR COUNTRIES, must present a copy of one of the exam results listed below (with reference to the criteria of the PRU senate decision on 01.09.2020):
“To be exempted from the English Preparatory Department, the students need to obtain a passing grade in the English Proficiency Exam or achieve at least the specified score (base score) from one of the exams listed in the table below:”

– For Turkish degree program applicants: a copy of TÖMER score of B1 level (If Turkish is not the first/official language of the country).

– For the Faculty of Law applicants: alongside with a TÖMER score of C1 level, the applicants must pass Piri Reis University Turkish Sufficiency Test.

– If the applicants cannot present a passing score, they have to pass the English Proficiency Exam held at PRU. Dates will be announced on the website. IF THEY DO NOT PASS THE EXAM, THEY WILL HAVE TO TAKE ENGLISH PREP CLASSES.

– IF TURKISH PROGRAM APPLICANTS DO NOT HAVE REQUESTED MIN. TÖMER SCORES, THEY WILL HAVE TO TAKE TURKISH PREP CLASSES. This requires them to change their visa status and they will have to officially request to put their PRU enrollment on hold.

BLUE CARD (MAVI KART)
The applicants are REQUIRED to present their BLUE CARD (MAVI KART) for official registration. If they are unable to do so, they acknowledge that they bear full responsibility for not being enrolled. In such a situation, they also accept that their deposit will not be refunded.

– The Equivalence Certificate which can be obtained from the Turkish Ministry of National Education or Turkish Embassy/Consulate in the home country of the applicant which verifies the equivalency of the high school diploma to a Turkish high school diploma. – 2 biometric photos taken within the last 6 months

PLEASE NOTE: WITHOUT EQUIVALENCY CERTIFICATE STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO STUDY AT UNIVERSITIES IN TÜRKIYE.
