How to Apply

From application to enrolment — here is the full journey, step by step.

Your application journey

1. Apply online

Create your account on the application portal and submit your application with the required document uploads for your study level.
2. Evaluation

The International Office reviews your documents and your exam result or high-school GPA against the admission requirements.
3. YÖKSİS acceptance letter

Admitted students receive an official YÖKSİS acceptance letter (with an ID number). Mid-term applicants may receive a pre-acceptance letter, subject to YÖK’s 1/3-of-prior-quota limit.
4. Student visa

Take your acceptance letter to a Turkish Embassy or Consulate and obtain your Student Visa (Öğrenim Vizesi) before travelling — except visa-exempt applicants.
5. Registration & residence permit

Complete registration with your original documents, Equivalency Certificate (Denklik) and payment receipt. After arrival, apply for your residence permit (ikamet).
