Marine engineers keep a ship alive — operating and maintaining the propulsion, power and machinery systems at the heart of every modern vessel. At Piri Reis University, Marine Engineering is a uniformed cadet program taught 100% in English that prepares you for a career as an oceangoing engineer officer on merchant ships. The curriculum meets IMO requirements, is fully aligned to STCW 2010, and also meets the training competencies for the Oceangoing Chief Engineer license.
